Sweetness watercolor print
When I painted Sweetness the adorable little fawn, I had just returned from a trip to El Paso, Tx. Between Las Cruces and El Paso there is an enormous antiques store called Whoopee Bowl and it’s as fun as it sounds! While there, I saw a baby crib from a very long time ago. The kind with hand painted baby forest animals and ribbons. It brought a very strong nostalgic feeling for me. I could almost smell the baby powder from who knows how many children had been lullabied to sleep in the crib. This is my attempt to send that sweet feeling on to you.
